Cyber Monday Is Still an Excellent Time to Buy That Vitamix Blender

I’ve been singing the praises of Vitamix blenders on this very site since 2018, since I put one to a head-to-head test against a then-new Instant Pot blender. In my experience, Vitamixes can do anything you throw at them — juicing celery, making hummus, crushing ice cubes for frozen-fruit margaritas — and they’re designed to last you a lifetime. I’m not the only one who thinks they’re the best. Our kitchen and dining writer Emma Wartzman’s pick for the best overall blender is the Vitamix 750, supported by recommendations from professional chefs, recipe developers, and smoothie-makers.

Yes, they’re pricey, but as Emma says, “Vitamix reigns supreme in the blender universe.” But one other thing I’ve learned after writing about blenders for over five years is that you never need to buy a full-price Vitamix. They go on sale pretty reliably — but Black Friday is usually the time when you can get the big daddy of Vitamix deals. And lucky for those of us who might be procrastinators, the Vitamix deals are still going strong on Cyber Monday.

This year is, admittedly, a bit of a mixed bag. There are quite a few models that are about 10 percent off, and though they’re great blenders (including the exact Vitamix that I’ve owned and loved for years), a 10 percent discount just isn’t a great deal. However, I found four excellent options that are well over 30 percent off, making them worth the splurge — including one immersion blender, for those worried about counter space.

One other truth about on-sale Vitamix blenders is that they don’t last long. So if you’ve been on the fence, now is really the time to buy; Cyber Monday truly is your last chance to get a deal.

If you’re looking to spend the least amount of money on a Vitamix blender, this Explorian is the way to go. At just $230, it’s the cheapest model you can buy (and even cheaper than the certified-refurbished version), but it doesn’t skimp on power, with a 2.2 horsepower motor.

$280

This Propel blender comes with a 48-ounce container, instead of the Explorian’s 64-ounce, making it a better option for those who are usually blending for one or two people.

$500

This is the cheapest we’ve ever seen this model. It’s got five preset programs, as compared to the Explorian’s and the Propel 510’s three, and it’s got the 64-ounce container, for maximum blending capacity.

If you don’t have the storage space for a whole blender, but you’ve still got a dream of making soups and purées this holiday season, here’s an excellent deal on a Vitamix stick blender. And unlike the classic blender, this one has a whisk attachment, so you can whip up some cake batter, too.
